National Service in Wisconsin

April 1, 2017 Milwaukee, WI Servie had another great visit at Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers this year! He spent time with Shani and Erin, the two Wisconsin HealthCorps members in prenatal care and the Women's Wellness Department and with Carol Anne in Healthy Choices. He also met Julia, the Farm to School member who spends time in Healthy Choices as well! After a few long days doing prenatal education in the clinic, Servie got to do the Healthy Choices program on Wednesday night, where he learned about nutrition and ran around with the students. 1/10/17: TFA-Milwaukee Thanks for coming to visit TFA-Milwaukee this week and helping us kick off the new year!     We are so happy that you got to spend time with us at our first All Corps training of the year! All Corps are a great time because our 120 AmeriCorps members who serve across the city get a chance to connect with each other while also attending sessions about Diversity, Equity & Power; Culturally Relevant Pedagogy; instructional techniques; and personal choice sessions.
