Volunteer Wisconsin AmeriCorps: Omro Area Community Center

"Servie has been an absolute gem. He took charge to meet the people we serve at our Advocap meal site the very first day! Everyone loved him, especially Evelyn, who brought a friend to meet Servie the very next day! We met Kirby the koala of Gibson Greeting Cards fame. Kirby is very rare and Servie was honored to meet this figure from history. Servie was monumental in our efforts to get our newsletter out on time. We made record time with Servie's help. That wonderful badger spent Christmas with me and he made sure our holiday greetings to the people we serve got out on time. It is with a heavy heart that I pack Servie's things to send him on his way. I know he will continue working diligently to help wherever he goes. We miss you already Servie Badger! I hope you enjoyed your visit to Omro!" -- Katrina Martz Volunteer Wisconsin AmeriCorps member serving Omro Area Community Center Evelyn, Katrina, and Servie Evelyn, Katrina, Kirby the koala, and Servie...

WI HealthCorps and WI DATCP Farm to School AmeriCorps: Winnebago County Health Department

"Servie, you inquisitive little badger! I'll try not to get too emotional as you embark on your next journey, but you have been a joy to have around the office. I hope you learned much about all we do as AmeriCorps members at the Winnebago County Health Department. I hop you enjoyed meeting lots of little kids (hopefully that wasn't too stressful), making healthy snacks, having fun with physical activity, seeing the school gardens, and learning about mental health and substance abuse prevention. And I hope your accommodations suited you well-- sorry for the lack of dirt to burrow in and grubs to eat. Now off to your next adventure; I'm sure our paths will cross once again. Bon Voyage!" --Lynnsey Erickson (WI HealthCorps, 2014-2016) "It's been real Servie! My lovely counterpart said it all.  #StayClassy" --Amanda Ross (AmeriCorps Farm to School, 2015-2016) "Servie, you da best! Cheers and safe travels to your next location." ...

WI DPI VISTA Project: CESA 7

"Servie, you came, you saw, you conquered. Only a few short days you came to the DPI-VISTA project at CESA 7 in Green Bay. What fun we had. To listening to an education presentation, watching Mrs. Claus talk to students, helping me with creating volunteering recruitment posters, writing emails, and answering phone calls. Servie, you may have not gotten dirty, but we used our brains, which left us exhausted. Thank you for being a great partner in this work of an AmeriCorps VISTA project. I'll miss you! CESA 7 will miss you. Of course, Green Bay, the city, will miss you. -- Brittney Danczyk, VISTA 2014-2016"
